As a reminder, on Monday, June 4, 2018 during part of the regular weekly meeting, there will be a parent/guardian/Scoutmaster informational meeting regarding summer camp.  All scouts who have registered for summer camp and their parent/guardian need to attend.  All scouts need to be in full Class A uniform for inspection in preparation for camp.  There will also be regular scout activities during the meeting.  Scouts are asked to bring their scout books so they can be updated.

As a reminder, there is no Troop meeting Monday, May 28, 2018 due to Memorial Day weekend.

To clarify, the placing of the flags at Somerset Cemetery will also be tomorrow, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 10:00am.  The address for those who have not been is 511 W. Columbia Street, Somerset, KY 42501.

We will also meet tomorrow, Tuesday, at East Somerset Baptist Church at 6:00pm to carpool to Russell Springs for swim checks.

We will once again be helping Somerset Cemetery place flags at the headstones of Veterans in honor of Memorial Day.  We will meet at 10:00am at the front of the cemetery.  Scouts need to be in Class A.   This is a good opportunity to get service hours and support our Veterans and their families.

Reminder the swim check is Tuesday.  Scouts will meet at East Somerset Baptist Church at 6:00pm and carpool to Russell Springs.  Scouts must be in Class A.  Don’t forget swimsuit and towel.  We will return around 8:30pm.   Everyone going to summer camp and/or wishing to participate in any aquatics activity during the next year (such as our fall canoe trip) must have a current swim check.

Court of Honor tonight at East Somerset Baptist Church at 7:00pm.  Scouts must be in full Class A uniform.  Family and friends are invited.

As a reminder, Monday, May 21, 2018 will be the Troop’s Court of Honor at East Somerset Baptist Church at 7pm.

Couple of reminders:

1. All Scouts need to be in Full Class A
2. This is a family/friends event
3. This is NOT a eating Court of Honor
4. All patrols need to have a skit/song ready
5. Lastly, all Scouts need to bring their books so they can be updated.

• Food money will be due for the May campout–$5.
• Full Class A uniform inspection.

• Thursday, May 10 will be Troop physicals at East Somerset at 6 pm.  Don’t forget your completed paperwork.

1. First all Boys that wish to attend this month’s campout need to bring their $10 for food.
2. Next all scouts need to bring dryer lint and if you have a flint and steel bring it because it will help you.
3. Monday is a full Class A uniform inspection.
