• There will be no troop meeting Monday, April 2, 2018.  The majority of the troop will be on spring break.
• Troop 79 will be hosting a Merit Badge Fair.  All wishing to attend will have to pick their classes as soon as possible because it is first come, first serve. (the list of classes are on the calendar)
• These are all the major announcements but more events for the month of April are on the Calendar.

This Monday, 3/19/18, is Order of the Arrow elections at East Baptist Church at 7:00pm.

• All Scouts must be in FULL Class A uniform
• We need at least 50% of the troop to show up
• All OA members need to wear your sash

As a reminder, this weekend is the Troop’s campout at Camp McKee. All scouts who wish to participate in the campout please bring $10 for food.

     As a reminder, tomorrow will be the popcorn reward Mindscape Escape Rooms.   All who received a Mindscape card with their name on it at the February Court of Honor may attend.   The location is at 110 Richie Lane, Suite C Somerset, Kentucky from 6:30-8:00.  Richie Lane is located between Monticello Banking Company and Tractor Supply off US 27 south.  Mindscape is on the left.

Saturday, March 3

4:30 pm to 9:30 pm – ROTARY INTERNATIONAL DINNER service project, the Center for Rural Development, Somerset

• Meet at back loading dock area adjacent to Monticello Street
• Full Class A uniform with neckerchief and dress shoes

As a reminder Tomorrow night will be a Full Class A uniform inspection.

Also there is a Patrol Leader Council meeting at 6:15.

Please note that according to the event flyer, the Pack 170 crossover tonight begins at 6 pm at Oak Hill Elementary. It had been listed incorrectly on the Troop website. If you are able to come to welcome new members, please wear Class A uniform. Sorry for any confusion.

6:30 pm – Troop CHILI SUPPER COURT OF HONOR

• Patrols: $10 food money due for Troop Campout
• Patrols supply the following items:
  • Eagle, Frontiersman and Wolf Patrols – veggies or a salad
  • Cobra Patrol – Cheese and crackers
  • Bobcat Patrol – Desserts
• For all family members
• Jack will have the skits ready
• Information about Summer Camp 2018 will be presented
