Crossover correction
Please note that according to the event flyer, the Pack 170 crossover tonight begins at 6 pm at Oak Hill Elementary. It had been listed incorrectly on the Troop website. If you are able to come to welcome new members, please wear Class A uniform. Sorry for any confusion.

Court of Honor
Our Chili Supper Court of Honor will be held Monday, February 19, starting at 6:30 pm. This is a family event and everyone is welcome. Registered troop leaders will bring the chili and the troop will provide drinks and accessory items. Patrols supply the following items:
- Eagle, Frontiersman and Wolf Patrols – veggies or a salad
- Cobra Patrol – Cheese and crackers
- Bobcat Patrol – Desserts

Summer Camp
It won’t be long before it is time for Summer Camp. This year we are returning to Camp McKee. Posted at the top of the on-line calendar are the deadlines for paying the $250 camp fee. We will need to know by the end of February if you plan to attend. Registration for Merit Badge classes will begin this Monday, February 12. Classes are first-come, first-serve, so it is important to register as early as possible. More details will be available at Court of Honor.

Scout Sunday
This Sunday, February 4, 2018 will be the Troop’s annual Scout Sunday celebration at East Somerset Baptist Church. All scouts will be expected to be in FULL Class A uniform. This includes scout pants (or dress pants if your uniform is not in good condition), slide and neckerchief. We will meet in the Gym of East Somerset Baptist at 10:15 a.m. and worship services will start around 10:30.
Scouting For Food
Troop 170 will also have a Scouting For Food drive at the church. We ask that all scouts bring some nonperishable food items that will be donated to God’s Food Pantry.
