Reminder: Research an environmental issue

Just a reminder to “Be Prepared” for the meeting Monday, Feb. 3, when we will cover 1st Class requirement 9b. Scouts should “investigate an environmental issue affecting your community” and be ready to “share what you learned about that issue” in a discussion. This includes telling “what, if anything, could be done by you or your community to address the concern.”

Study hint
According to Wikipedia: “Major current environmental issues may include climate change, pollution, environmental degradation, and resource depletion. The conservation movement lobbies for protection of endangered species and protection of any ecologically valuable natural areas, genetically modified foods, and global warming.”
