As a friendly reminder today, June 20th, is the combined Eagle Courts of Honor for Josh L. and Joe C., at Pulaski County Park Shelter #2 at 4pm. Please show your support for two amazing scouts who achieved Boy Scout’s highest rank.

If you ordered flowers to support Venture Crew 170, you can pick up your flowers after 3 pm at East Somerset Baptist Church Shelter house.  Thank you for supporting Crew 170.

Thank you to everyone who bought flowers from Crew 170. The flowers are being delivered TODAY and can be picked up TODAY at East Somerset Baptist Church at the shelter. We do have a definite delivery time yet. The storms and heavy rain have delayed loading the truck. It will be some time this afternoon. Please keep an eye for a second post for the delivery time of the flowers.

As a friendly reminder, tonight, May 3rd is the 17th annual Hal Rogers Leadership Dinner. All scouts who are participating in the dinner need to arrive at the Center for Rural Development around 5:45 p.m. All Scouts need to wear their Full Class A uniform. THIS INCLUDES the neckerchief and dress (nicer) shoes.

As a reminder, anyone wishing to help Crew 170 with their first fundraiser please contact Crew 170 members by Monday night.   Crew 170 is selling flowers in hanging baskets and instant pots.   The flowers will be here in time for Mother’s Day.  This is an easy gift ready to hang out set in place where you, or mom, wants them.

The prices of the flowers are as follows:    

1 gal of instant pot flowers is $18.                                                      10″ hanging baskets is $20.                                                                     8″ succulent instant pot is $20.

Venture Crew 170 is holding a fundraiser to raise money for Crew activities. Crew 170 is selling flowers in instant pots with a gallon of flowers or 10″ hanging baskets or 8″ instant succulent pots .

The plants are in instant pots and do not require planting. Just place or hang them where you want them. This nursery grows beautiful flowers. Below is a picture of the choices of flowers you can order. All orders must be received by April 26 and the plants will be delivered on May 4, just in time for Mother’s Day!

As a friendly reminder today the troop will be helping Jack W earn his sign signal and codes merit badge. All scouts and crew are welcome to attend but it’s not mandatory.  Those who do attend please bring some water, wear comfortable shoes, and your Class A shirt. This is a fun 1 mile hike behind Somerset Community, College. We will be meeting at 3:30 pm at the entrance to the trail.

The address is Somerset Community College, 808 Monticello St., Somerset, KY 42501. Turn east at US27 at traffic light #16. The nature trail is located at the back of the campus.

Just as a friendly reminder that the scout meeting tonight will be held in person. The troop will be meeting in the gym at East Somerset Baptist at 7 pm. All scouts should have a skit or song in mind to discuss with the rest of your patrol. Facemasks and social distancing guide lines will be followed.
