About Troop 170

Boy Scout Troop 170 is chartered to East Somerset Baptist Church in Somerset, KY.

A Scout is Reverent: Scout Sunday

scoutsunday-webTroop 170, along with Pack 134, will celebrate Scout Sunday on February 5 with our chartered partner, East Somerset Baptist Church. The Boy Scouts of America designates the Sunday that falls before February 8 (Scouting’s Anniversary Day) as Scout Sunday, which is the primary date to recognize the contributions of young people and adults to Scouting.

We will gather in the church gym at 10:15 am; services begin at 10:30 am.

We are requesting that ALL SCOUTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS ATTEND, regardless of your denomination, for this special celebration. All Scouts and Adult Leaders should be in full Class A uniform with dress shoes.

There will also be a kickoff for the Scouting For Food collection, to be held on February 12.
