MasterChef Junior: “Scouts Honor”
This is a little different, but …
Tonight on MasterChef Junior (April 6, Fox, 8 pm) the Top 12 junior home cooks take their talents to the great outdoors to serve up the ultimate campfire cookout. But these mini chefs aren’t serving their culinary concoctions to just anyone – they’re preparing their campout cuisine for the masters of outdoor cooking: Scouts!
Among the top 12 contestants is Boy Scout Evan from the Pathway to Adventure Council. The contestants are divided into two teams of six to serve a hungry batch of 50 Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and troop leaders and Evan is chosen as the red team captain against Peyton, the blue team captain and a Girl Scout.

Status checks for Personal Fitness MB
Mr. Terry Randall, counselor for the Eagle-required Personal Fitness Merit Badge, will be at the Troop meeting on Monday, April 10, to review progress on your physical fitness program. Bring your documentation to the meeting.
There were 13 Scouts who began the class on January 8, 2017. Those who began their fitness program immediately will be ready for their final physical tests (which will be scheduled for a later date). If you have not yet begun the fitness program you should do so immediately. In either case, we need to know where each participant stands on being ready to complete the badge. If you forgot what is required, click here to check out Requirements 7 & 8.
